Sure, sure, it's all been done before, but now I get to do it. Without further ado, here is my all-name team. 20 - Rod Smart - Who the Hell is Rod Smart you ask? Well he is none other than the fool who called himself "He Hate Me" and pretty much epitomized the debacle that was the XFL. 19. Elbert L. "Ickey" Woods - Running back his entire carreer for the Bengals. Hey, how many guys not named Humpty Hump have a dance named after them. The Ickey Shuffle remains high on the all time celebrations list. 18. "Chocolate Thunder" Darryl Dawkins - Perhaps more appropriate for wrestling or porn, but still has a nice ring to it. 17. "Pistol" Pete Maravich - LSU grad was a known practicioner of yoga, a part time ufologist, and could also play a little basketball. Died of a heart attack in 1988 at a young age.

Emissions Trading Commodifies Carbon, But Does It Really Help Solve ...

Proponents of carbon trading see markets as the best mechanism for reducing emissions, while critics characterize carbon trading as a devil's bargain that steers profits to polluters.

SocialFunds.com -- You cant solve problems just by throwing money at them, the old saying goes. Capitalists, who think markets are the solution to everything, reverse this equation by turning problems from money-pits into money-makers. Essentially, they seek to harness the profit motive to cure societys woes by transforming problems into commodities. This is precisely the strategy behind the emerging carbon trading markets.

While most markets facilitate product accumulation, these markets encourage problem elimination. For example, by trading carbon emission rights that are capped and subsequently ratcheted down, the rights become more scarce and hence more valuable.

The city is caught in tensions and violence

University College London was the largest recruiter of overseas students, with nearly 6,000 on its books, but the London School of Economics topped the list of universities dominated by overseas undergraduates and postgraduates, with 64 per cent coming from overseas.

A spokesman for Universities UK hailed the rising number of students and academics choosing to work and study in Britain. He said: " International students and academics also provide an immeasurable academic, cultural, and social benefit to the UK generally.

By contrast, 19,000 people left Britain last year to study overseas, a number that has stayed broadly similar for a decade.

Last dairy on Oahu closes

Oahu's dairy industry is all tapped out.

After 12 years of operation, Waianae's Pacific Dairy will shut down milking operations by Feb. 15. It is currently in the process of selling or slaughtering its herd of 300 cows.

The closure is yet another blow to Hawaii's dairy industry, which has seen three milk producers shut down in the past year, the most recent being Kamuela Dairy on the Big Island. Clover Leaf Dairy in Upolu and Island Dairy in Ookala on the Big Island are the last two dairies in Hawaii.

Chin Lee, a dairy extension specialist at the University of Hawaii, said if the state wants to keep production, it should d buy up additional lands to provide for agricultural use, such as grazing, to help farmers cut costs.
